Emeritus Professor David Hayward chaired the review, and Dr David Cousins and the Commissioner were the other members of the independent panel that led the review with the support of a very impressive secretariat under Angelina Yannuccelli.
They looked at other parts of Australia and had great advice from overseas practitioners about good practice regulation. We drew on the experience and views of many current and prospective tenants of social housing as well as agencies working in the area and community members seeking to improve housing options.
The Commissioner is particularly pleased to see that the great majority of the recommendations being accepted.
